Improvements in the Hamrun nursery have been made during the past few years in all aspects, be they in coaching staff, facilities and in organisation. Our nursery is establishing itself as one of the best in Malta.

The nursery boasts of the best coaches on the island led by Stefan Sultana, who holds a UEFA A Coaching Licence and is top scorer of all times of Maltese top level football. The Hamrun nursery makes sure that its coaches are of utmost integrity before appointing them. Their dedication ensures that the best training is given. The coaches instil a winning mentality in their players and proof of this is that most of our teams do get very good results throughout the year. Most coaches and even some committee members have been trained in first aid in order to safeguard the safety of our players.

The Hamrun nursery has a very professional setup and a very dedicated committee. This website is a mirror of the organised way that our nursery operates. Our nursery is one of only a few nurseries on the island possessing a category 'A' licence issued by the Malta Football Association. It is also one of a few nurseries having all its teams in Section A of the leagues organised by the Youth FA and the MFA.

The Hamrun club boasts of the best facilities around the island. The Victor Tedesco Stadium is the stage where some of the players from other nurseries will play tomorrow, but where Hamrun boys occasionally train and play TODAY. Moreover, the Hamrun nursery boasts of other facilities, including a five-a-side synthetic turf pitch where its own attractive premises are situated. These premises are centrally located on the island very close to Blata l-Bajda, from where all buses pass enroute towards Valletta.

Most of all, the Hamrun nursery ensures that our boys grow up to be men of good character. Use of foul language and violent play are strictly prohibited at all times. We continuously strive to give full attention and due importance to each and every young player, as may be witnessed on this website. There is no place for favoritism as players for each match are chosen on their own abilities and dedication to training. A number of events are also organised by the nursery, wherein participation by everyone is encouraged.

The nursery has the full backing of the Hamrun Spartans Football Club, which has a history of hundred years in football. The club is followed by thousands of supporters and has a whole list of honours to be proud of.

Unlike some other nurseries, where their main aim is to do business out of their boys, our dream is to see our boys grow up and honour the red and black shirt even at senior level. The First Team squad is the best advert for our nursery as more than 90% of the current squad are nursery products. This proves that the nursery is producing quality players and each player is given his chance to prove himself on the big stage. Besides, throughout the years, other Premier League teams have also lured players from the Hamrun squad who were products of the Hamrun nursery.
